Dr. Desai listened to my issues, examined me, and began treatment on my second visit. He is very professional and I believe I will finally see some improvement in my pain management. In addition, the staff is very polite and helpful.

I had such a great, helpful and productive experience. Dr. Desai and all his staff were kind and attentive. Dr. Desai was incredibly thorough, thoughtful and responsive. He listened to all my concerns and questions and answered everything as well as provided an action plan. I feel heard and cared about. Excellent practice and a wonderful doctor! Highly recommend.

I’ve been a patient here for a few years and formally had the pleasure of working with Dr. Dihn. She has moved on to a different specialty, but I was very pleased when I made a last-minute phone call Thursday afternoon begging them to make an appointment for me the next day because of my severe back pain.
After being put on a brief hold, the nice gentleman on the other end of the line told me that he had two options for me for the following day
He did mention that there is a new doctor in town and he is amazing. I showed up at 11 AM the following day I was immediately seen. First by the medical assistant, who was an awesome guy, very helpful and kind
And then they brought in the big guns Dr. K
He was pleasant, to the point, and most importantly, he put his hands on my back and checked the areas that was complaining about
Sensing my urgency and stress about the intense pain, I was dealing with, and the fact that I had to do a photo shoot in San Francisco in a couple days, Dr. K multiple trigger point shot injections right on the spot
He was very clear in his communication and instantly made me feel at ease. I will deeply miss Doctor Dihn
I am equally happy to have a new back specialist looking after me

For my first appointment I was initially seen by a staff nurse and then by two medical students, followed by Dr. Desai. He explained my pain by what he saw from my records. He made a medicine adjustment and referred me for spine X-rays. He said interventions could go from mild to surgery but side effects would increase with the amount of invasiveness. We will go over a treatment plan following my X-rays. He was very professional, thorough, and relatable.

Listens to the patient. Well studied and insightful into the challenges I face as a patient. His procedures have been effective in diminishing pain. Looks ahead toward what's next and works with patient to develop solutions that don't involve surgery or other invasive processes. I am always comfortable with him and look forward to visits because I know the discomfort and pain I experience is being effectively addressed.

I highly recommend Dr. Thakral. He was very responsive when I first injured myself, arranged for an immediate MRI, and pointed me in the right direction when I was ready for PT. He is caring, answers all questions and makes you feel that you are in good hands.
